What is an affiliate link?
Some links we show in the app and in your plans take you to the sites of flight, accommodation, tour and activity providers. For some of these links, if you book or buy something on that site, SeeFor may earn a commission from the provider.
What does this mean for you?
- You pay nothing extra. The provider pays the commission; the price you pay does not change.
- You pay on the provider's site. SeeFor does not take payments and never sees or stores your card details.
- The provider is the seller. Bookings, cancellations, refunds and changes follow that provider's terms.
- Prices come from the provider. Amounts shown in the app may be approximate; the price that counts is the one on the provider's site.
Plans stay independent
Our partners cannot decide which places appear in a plan or in what order, and they do not pay us for it. Your plan is built only from what you chose for that trip. A link being an affiliate link is never the reason we suggest it.
What does a link carry?
An affiliate link may include a short code that tells us which plan a booking came from and which person on that plan made it: the plan's ID and a tag specific to that person, generated with a secret key. If the provider reports the booking to us, we use this code to link the booking to your account. Your name, email and contact details are never written into that code. The provider's site may use its own cookies to recognize the referral; those follow that site's privacy policy. How we handle our own data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
